Industries
From the grid to the last load — one supplier.
Pick a scenario and follow the power through each voltage level, with the matching equipment at every node.
Generator step-up and primary substation transformers carry power to 10–35 kV feeders, where sealed S13 or amorphous distribution transformers serve towns, villages and businesses.

Power cables
The transformer is only as good as the cable feeding it.
Xinya started as a power cable manufacturer. Every transformer and substation we supply can ship with the MV and LV cables specified for it — sized, terminated and tested.
- MV power cable
XLPE-insulated copper cable 6/10 to 26/35 kV to IEC 60502-2, armoured or unarmoured, from our own lines.
- Terminations & joints
Heat-shrink or cold-shrink terminations matched to bushings, elbow connectors and switchgear.
- One set of test records
Cable routine tests delivered together with the transformer test report for your inspector.
- One shipment
Transformers, substations and cable drums consolidated in one container booking.
Questions buyers ask
Short answers from our engineers. Ask anything else in the inquiry form.
Oil-immersed or dry-type: which transformer should I choose?
Choose oil-immersed for outdoor yards and the lowest cost per kVA; choose cast-resin dry type for indoor rooms, high-rise buildings, hospitals and anywhere fire rules restrict oil.
How do I size a distribution transformer?
Divide the maximum demand in kW by the power factor to get kVA, add margin for future growth, then pick the next standard rating so the transformer runs below about 90% load. Our sizing tool does this in seconds.
Which standards do your transformers meet?
IEC 60076 (oil-immersed), IEC 60076-11 (dry type), IEC 62271-202 (prefabricated substations) and the Chinese GB 1094 / GB/T 10228 / GB/T 6451 series. Other voltages, frequencies and standards are engineered to order.
What is the difference between S11, S13 and amorphous transformers?
They are energy-efficiency levels. S13 has about 20–30% lower no-load loss than S11, and amorphous-alloy cores cut no-load loss by about 70% versus S11 — the best choice where transformers run lightly loaded.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard distribution transformers and substations usually ship within a few weeks of drawing approval; power transformers take longer. We confirm a firm date with every quotation.
Can I inspect or witness tests before shipment?
Yes. You can attend factory acceptance tests in person or by live video, or appoint a third-party inspector. Test reports for your serial numbers are supplied with the shipment.
